It was really good, the drinks were superb, the food was good, but apparently there is a list of specialty sushi offered that isn't on the menu. We had our server pick us out a couple, and she did amazing but it would have been nice to have seen those other options as well.

Was skeptical at first never had Japanese food before but had a buffet for a work get together and everything i tried was very good.

I did not expect the inside to look as it did, based on the outside. It was very mellow and dim, which I prefer. The staff were attentive and friendly. I most loved that there were vegetarian options and surprisingly left full!

Questions & Answers

Yes! But they usually only have a small amount and they are not sold by themselves, only on Unari

Nope

No...but you can

Per pound of green beans: 1 tablespoon olive oil 2-4 cloves garlic crushed or minced 1/2-3/4 cup sake 1/4-1/2 cup mirin 1/4 soy sauce 1 tablespoon of butter 1 tsp dashi granules 1 tsp salt (or to taste) We Flash fry or blanche our beans first to soften them while preparing a sauce in a 10 inch pan with the above ingredients over med-hi heat. Oil and garlic first. Once garlic starts to become fragrant then you can add the rest of the ingredients in order listed. Add beans once sauce starts to simmer and simmer until desired softness. We follow a 3:2:1 ratio of sake, mirin, and soy sauce which are the key ingredients, along with the garlic, to the flavor of our green beans. Hope this helps!
